boxes. indiana, ohio, down south to northern georgia, even western north carolina and south carolina. those little boxes of red are tornado warnings. that is where right now there are a lot of reports of tornadoes actually on the ground. we're seeing a lot of damage out of henriville, indiana. reports of a high school severely damaged, and another tornado moving into the area right now. that's a big hot spot and half a dozen reports of tornadoes right around the border there of kentucky and indiana and another zone that's firing just a little farther down to the south. again, all part of the same system that is going to be headed this way. for us the heavy rain. you see it right there. that's the line just south and west of cincinnati, ohio. so cincinnati likely to begin a tornado warning very soon, too. heavy rain, fredericksburg, headed to the north and east up into st. mary's county, calvert county, moderate rain around warranton so a sloppy afternoon and evening rush for us. we're at 49 degrees with a southeast wind at 9 miles per hour. we'll have temperatures dropping to about 5

a southern slider if you will. that snow starting to the west around illinois. around indiana and, yes, that includes also southern indiana. this is the same area we were talking about at the end of last week, the tornado ravaged areas of southern indiana and kentucky so they had snow on top of that just adding insult to injury. and that system made its way off to the east clipping us. next, cold air for us with those snow showers and flurries winding down around 7:00 or 7:30. a cold night, sunshine with real, chilly air that will be on tap throughout the day tomorrow. so cool day coming our way tomorrow. flurries ending. skies clearing but cold. sunset today 6:06. 31 to 37 degrees with a northwest wind at 10 to 15 miles per hour. then yeah. cold air for a change starting out again. sun is up at 6:32 tomorrow and when you head out the door you're definitely going to need your coat. 22 to 29 degrees for the temperature but by the afternoon should get up to 45 to 50 degrees. that's still a couple degrees below average. meanwhile take a look at this. your four day forecast. i think you're

to the north and the west. ohio up into indiana and even michigan. and down south into areas of central virginia as well as new jersey. all under a freeze warning here for the overnight, early morning time period. so we are going to be getting cold. 36 degrees by tomorrow morning inside the beltway. sun is up tomorrow at 7:23 and even once the sun comes up it'll take us a little while to get going and warm up. but look at the chilly evening, too. 49 degrees at 9:00. 11:00 p.m. 45. chilly, chilly. here we come. 45 degrees right now in olney and gaithersburg. so look at some of the spots we're talking about. again, for several hours maybe three or four hours dipping down below freezing. 29 there in gaithersburg. 27 leesburg. 26 degrees in areas around culpepper and it's the spots off to the west that i'm thinking that's where we could really see a little bit of damage to some of those tender plants and vegetation. sunshine is with us tomorrow. hey, no problems at all. we'll bounce back, right? we have high pressure and will get a chance to warm up on wednesday. notice the cloud cover that
